Role: GA4 analyst
Please send CVs to hello@lanalytics.co.nz, or get in touch with Lana for a chat.
We’re always looking for people with GA4 skills, so get in touch even if your skills don’t match the role below.
About the role:
We’re looking for someone who can:
- Find audience and performance insights in GA4 data.
- Answer client queries and help them to use the GA4 interface.
- Create dashboards in Looker Studio.
- Validate and create tracking in Google Tag Manager.
You’ll be working on a variety of GA4 projects for different clients, often with large data sets and complex needs.
It’s a flexible contract role that can be done remotely. You will need to attend online meetings in NZT working hours.
At Lanalytics we provide customised, quality services that drive meaningful success. We don’t like impenetrable reports or superficial results. We value our colleagues and community, and promote a work/life balance in our way of working.
Responsibilities:
- Use GA4 data to answer ad hoc queries from clients about their website performance.
- Troubleshoot problems that clients have while using the GA4 interface.
- Make client GA4 data more accessible and usable through dashboards, explorations or reports.
- Create Looker Studio dashboards using GA4 data.
- Proactively investigate user trends in GA4 and provide clear insights on performance.
- Investigate GA4 data anomalies and identify whether they are implementation issues or user trends.
- Test, fix and create custom tracking in Google Tag Manager.
Nice-to-have:
- For Looker Studio dashboards, experience using data from different platforms such as GA4, Google Search Console, Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, would be ideal.
- Dashboard design expertise.
- Experience in Excel and manipulating CSV files.
About you:
You’ll have extensive experience working with Google Analytics, and good experience with GA4.
You’ll be driven to help clients understand and improve their website perfomance, and you’ll understand how performance data relates to the user experience. You’ll be able to communicate insights in plain English.
